The Watts Rams football team not only offers players support on the field, but off the field as well. We want to see kids be successful in all aspects of life. Sometimes students need extra support for school, not because they are behind, but because extra support leads to extra knowledge and learning. Our tutoring program offers students homework help, enrichment activities, and relationship building. Our tutors support our players in many ways such as providing enrichment activities for students who want to broaden their learning outside of the classroom. We provide intervention for students who need extra support and help inside the classroom. Students who have projects, essays, and a variety of other assignments assigned during the regular school day will get the help they need to complete these items.

Ms. Conner has tutored for the Watts Rams since the 2019-2020 school year. She is a veteran teacher of 10+ years for the LAUSD school district. She has taught in elementary, middle, and high schools and has worked with students from all grade levels. Whether it is homework help, intervention, or enrichment, Ms Conner will work with students to make sure they have the skills hey need to succeed.

**Masters of Art in Education: Curriculum & Instruction**
**Credentialed Multiple Subject Educator for the state of California**
Ms Leau is an experienced teacher for LAUSD and began tutoring for the Watts Rams during the 2020-2021 school year. She has taught in the magnet program at the elementary level with a focus on journalism and writing; and also provides support for students of all ages across content areas. She has also tutored students outside of the Watts Rams program giving her the experience she needs to help students succeed.
